Asquith Hall’s Occupational Therapist has an holistic approach when assessing the physical, psychological, social and environmental needs of our individuals. This helps to empower our ladies and gentlemen to overcome obstacles, carry out daily activities to the best of their ability and maintain their independence as much as they can.

Our Occupational Therapist also assists with creating a safe environment, to encourage participation in meaningful and purposeful activity, and advises other team members on individual requirements to maximise their safety and independence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Encouraging ladies and gentlemen to participate in individual and communal activities
  • Assessing ways to assist the daily living skills of those we look after
  • Providing specialist advice for accessibility aids and equipment.
